in our performance of metamorphosis we have had to edit the script significantly so it plays to there strengths we have had to change it because the limitations to the number of casts there are seven roles including Mr and Mrs s and there are three lodgers as well as Greta and Gregor and there are only 5 people in the group so we cut the lines out and we combined the roles  of the lodge and because they are very similar characters.    .

She should have died hereafter; she shouldn’t have died at that time. Macbeth mindset is deteriorating because his wife has just died

Signifying nothing. this is which said at the end of the passage tells use there is nothing left everything is broken

Macbeth state of mind is deteriorating throughout as wee see the transformation from hero to villain.

Shakespeare’s use of Metaphor

Shakespeare uses metaphor to present Macbeth’s state of mind at the end of the play.  Macbeth mindset deteriorating as he is surrounded in the castle but he thinks he is still going to win and also his wife has just died and there is English army waiting outside his house as they are waiting to kill him but Macbeth him self has a ruthless ambition to the king but also Macbeth feels guilty about the murder he has committed so his mind is deteriorating through the play and slowly the locked up guilt drives him mad. In this metaphor, ” It is a tale Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing. this means that Macbeth thinks that life is not worth living because of his motivation has come from his wife. “Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player That struts and frets his hour upon the stage without meaning”  this quote demonstrates the same situation and a hour is not that long his life is not that long.

Metaphysical events

Macbeth has also hallucinations There are three very notable hallucinations that Macbeth experiences. One is the dagger that he sees floating before him just before he is about to murder Duncan. Just after he kills the king, he fancies he hears voices calling out that ‘Macbeth does murder sleep also shake spear was the one who put the hallucinations inside Macbeth mindset and Macbeth has been brainwashed and doesn’t realise hear yet these hallucinations show Macbeth mind set deteriorating.

Rhythm 

Iambic meter. One unstressed syllable followed by one stressed syllable, repeated the rhythm has broken and is dead in his speech due to the fact that his wife has just died and he is going mad and because there is the English army waiting outside his house and he was also having hallucinations also he hasn’t got a good relationship with some of the characters.

my character is  the first lodger age 26  the lodger is  pictured as being able to with stand his strength and is also demanding at times in the play and his characteristics are that he is trying to help the family. i am intending  to play my character quite physical at all time and my character w  have a accent due to his age being quite young he  will also come across at times as a nice and fundamental person   but he will be looking to get a high appearance but he will also not be temper mental my character is going to be independent but he will be going in strong fearless as the lodger are physically tough my character will not be focusing on any historical or political context but maybe it is set at a specific moment and time . The context of the hall performance is the refugee crises Gregor is the refugee we are suppose to supporting him also gregor was the beetle
